Never again will I drink that much Champagne, I feel terrible today. Darwin is on a very weird schedule to make matters more confusing, he’s just gone back down for his second nap and it’s only 10:30am. He seems to be going through separation anxiety or something like it, he’s only happy in my arms which is nice for 2 seconds then he gets heavy and I still have to get stuff done which makes things difficult.

Yesterday afternoon was the big party and it went really well, the food was delicious and everyone seemed to have a great time. Darwin’s truck cake was a big hit so turned out to be well worth the hassle, preparing for the party was a bit of a nightmare especially with Darwin is his state. I wore him in the Ergo most of the day and by 2pm I was much happier with food in my belly and a drink in my hand. Darwin really enjoyed the company of all the kids and was spoilt silly with great gifts of books and clothes. He went to bed around 7pm with thoughts of M&M’s dancing in his head no doubt.
