A REAL FEEL GOOD WEEKEND
Friday afternoon Miss Mezza came by for a visit, Tuva her and I thought it might be fun to whack some tennis balls on the court in Makawao. It was really fun running around despite the wind and our bear feet. I made spaghetti for dinner and Dre, Jas and I relaxed on the couch and watched the movie “Juno” early so I could get to bed before 9pm, I love my early nights!
Yesterday was a true weekend, I wasn’t out of my “house clothes” until 11:30am after Darwin’s lunch. Tuva and I took Darwin to the Upcountry Pool, there were so many other kids Darwin had a blast and was swimming so well. It’s a nice change going to the pool especially when it’s so windy down the hill. Darwin had a good afternoon while JC mowed the yard, he woke up just in time for a ride on the mower which gets him so excited. He is such a boy, grunts like the sound of motors and loves anything mechanic or electronic.
Last night Ben and Jill (now 37 weeks up the duff and still glowing) joined us as well as Tuva, Bertrand and Dre on our deck for dinner. Great food and conversation made for a perfect night.
Hey Ruthie! Was just checkin up to see how little Darwin is doing these days. He’s so so so adorable! And also, saw your post about JUNO! Ellen Page came into my restaurant tonight (main actress in the movie). She seems very sweet and also quite funny!
Hope you are doing well! And I look forward to meeting little Darwin one day. Maybe we can have a birthday bash together someday!
