Welcome 2008, two days until my Birthday!!!

Yesterday was wet and icky, today is worse but it won’t stop us from enjoying our New Years Day. We had plans to camp out at Summer Set Dam with Jazz and the crew but the weather convinced us to stay at home. We feasted on delicious prawns, oysters, salmon asparagus crapes and Champagne of course. Tom was here to join us but Rog was at the Gold Coast with a few mates. We were all in bed by 8:30pm after watching “Surf’s Up” bar Rog who phoned at 4am after winning $600 at the Casino. He’s happy to start the New Year with a mean hangover and pocket full of cash, I’m happy to start the New Year waking with Darwin at 5:30am and a clear head but do wish the sun would come out.

I’m very pleased to say that Darwin has seen the end of 2007 out with two bottom teeth! Yes his little toothy pegs cut through about 3 days ago, he’s not been overly fussy until yesterday where it now seems they may be bothering him but nothing drastic. He is also really coming into that “separation anxiety”? faze, he really wants me to be around and unless he is totally happy playing by himself if I leave the room he gets a bit panicky. Likewise when Jason has him on his own and are they having a great time if I walk past and he gets a glimpse of me, he fusses. Oh poor baby, I’m such a push over…things will be different when we get home my son…or will they? Ahhh!
