This weekend David and Kerri (my old bosses from Cafe By The Beach, OZ) came to visit. They are renovating their cafe at home so decided to come to Hawaii for a quick vacation while the cafe was under works. We’ve had a great time since they arrived yesterday lunch time, the weather has been amazing. Yesterday after lunch at home we explored Paia and had coffee and a sweet crepe at Cafe Des Amis, finishing off the day with a delicious BBQ at our place.

Today we drove over to the South Side early, we had a great surf at Thousand Peaks, I was soooo stoked! Lahaina was SO hot. We ate lunch at the Oyster Bar, walked the shops then drove home tired. We rested at home before enjoying a Mama’s Mai Tai at sunset. I’m writing this now while still sitting around drinking after dinner at home…better go and be sociable, it’s been great to have them here it’s been a real slice of home!
