BARE CHRISTMAS TREE OR FLAX?
First things first, yes Darwin did it again…slept through the night. I went to bed feeling like it was Christmas Eve wondering if he would or would not wake for a 4am feed. I feel as rested as I normally do, I’m mostly excited that he has reached this milestone at such a young age, there I go jumping the gun…touch wood, I know the old “just when you have them figured out, they surprise you with something new” we shall see? Also it’s sad but true, Darwin is loosing his hair. It’s been falling out for about 3 weeks now, you can see it on his sheets, when he wears white and in his little hairbrush although it’s not noticeable. He still sports a Mohawk which people think we give him purposefully.
Ok now the up date on our asparagus plant. Anne was indeed right, it is a New Zealand Flax. There are many others sprouting around Maui, none such as spectacular as ours I imagine!
Yes, it truely is amazing - is it a male plant ! Well, it’s good ol’ Friday again - lots of love nanny
