JULIE’S BABY SHOWER WEEKEND
Saturday morning Amy, Darwin and I flew to Oahu for Julie’s Baby Shower. We arrived at Grandma’s house in Kailua at around 1pm, Darwin was the man of the house with all the aunties there. It was a really fun shower with some difficult games like, match the baby animal with its adult ie. Pup - Shark and un-scramble the muddled baby associated words ie. Lcioc - colic. Well organized Peggy!
After the shower, Amy, Julie, Gail and I (of course Darwin too) went back to Gail and Mike’s house in Waimanalo to lounge around. Later on we decided to head into town for a few sunset cocktails before picking Ryan up at the airport. We sipped on Mai Tai’s and ate a delicious spread of fried foods at La Mariano’s, it was really nice to hang out with the girls of the family and giggle.
Darwin and I flew back solo yesterday lunch time, it was fun just the two of us on a little adventure but we were very happy to be home with Jason last night. It was odd being away from him overnight, it’s not something we do that often but Julie’s Baby Shower was worth it, she looks beautiful, and we can’t wait to meet Vann!
Julie looks beautiful and glad you had such a fun time, Hawaiians know how to lay it on! Darwin is sure growing fast into a little boy, I cant be away from him for too much longer! happy days to my loved ones, simply the best parents u 2.
