Last night was our third night in our new home, it is mind boggling!

We are just so fortunate, firstly to have had a beautiful healthy baby boy not three weeks ago and now own our very own amazing home. Everything is just perfect we are such a stoked family!

The first day of moving on the 5th went really well. Amy, Julie and Ryan helped a ton and by 10pm Jas and I were sitting down to a bowl of soup in a pretty lived in looking house. We were both completely exhausted but still so excited with 1,000 things to do still on our minds. The 6th was another very busy day, Maurico helped Jas move the last of the appliances and yesterday we officially moved out of “the shack” it is bare and sad looking.

In the morning Darwin and I took a break and I joined Leah with 8 week old Liam and De with her 9 mth old baby boy Pheniox at Tina and Mia’s house. Tina put on an amazing spread, coffee pastries fruit toast with cheese and jams it was all delicious and our conversations were so much fun. It was a real Mothers morning, all of a sudden our lives are totally different. Gone are the days of talking about how drunk we got last night, who did what, who slept with who! Now it’s birth stories, play dates, poop tails…baby, baby, baby and I love it!

Today our home really feels like home, everything is put away (well pretty much) we just ate dinner and Darwin is sleeping in my arms while we watch Law and Order on our new flat screen T.V (a house warming present to ourselves).

Life is good.
