DARWIN’S DEBUT
So today I am officially 36 weeks, 9 months by my “supposed” due date. Darwin is 8 days old!Last night George and Nellie who’s now 30 weeks pregnant came by for dinner. George had prepared a delicious squash and cheese Lasagna, salad and Nellie had made a to die for “Chocolate in Between” she called it. We talked “Baby” stories of course while dinning outside in the just right temperature sipping on red wine, it was a lovely night…thanks for the leftovers too!!!
This morning much to my surprise Darwin was right on schedule. After eating before bed at 9ish he woke again at 12 and 4am to feed like a champ, he sleeps really well between feeds too so we get plenty of rest. I got up at 7am and showered, by the time I was out he was awake again and playing bright eyes with his Dad, we had plenty of time to feed and get changed I even made myself tea and toast. We made it on time for our 8am photo shoot!
Karin Frost designed a baby carrier called the “Ergo Baby Carrier” (www.ergobaby.com). She and her husband, son and parents are regular Sunday breakfasters at cafe Des Amis. When she’d heard I’d given birth she asked us to model the carrier as they have a special ‘infant insert’, of course I was happy to oblige.
I had my makeup done, Darwin didn’t need any he’s WAY to good looking already! The shots were taken in the streets of Makawao so it was also very handy for us. Darwin and I will be on the box of the new organic carriers with the infant inserts so be on the look out.
Well, Well, no rest for little Darwin already got him working for you hey!
How’s that, just happen to have a bub and the photo shoots start. Nothing new to you though Ruthie!! Clothes shoot in south africa, boat ring in Australia & baby carriers in Maui, soon you will be on all the shelves. love you guys talk soon

NO WONDER I see so many Ergos on Maui! There’s some serious Ergo love here on Oahu as well. So when can I go and check them out on the Ergo web site?
