MORE ON LITTLE MR. D
It’s 11.30am, Darwin is sleeping swaddled in my lap. Last night was another great night, JC and I made a nice dinner and were visited by Cecily who is due July 6. She came baring chicken soup hot bread, cookies and beer which we will dig into tonight! I went to bed at about 9:30pm pretty tired. JC cuddled Darwin when he woke and changed his diaper which he is exceptional at doing. His very first ever diaper change was when was 2 days old, now he’s always wanting to do it. They have such a great bond already, Jason is an amazing father…we are just such a happy Family (Arie included).
Last night Darwin slept on me between the first two feeds and then the next two he slept in his crib at the foot of our bed, he sleeps in there during the day also unless we need to have an extra Darwin fix then we just hold him and melt. He wakes fairly soundly before a feed and gets his diaper changed, often he opens his eyes and susses out the situation making just darling eye contact. I then latch him onto my *ENORMOUS* breasts and he suckles until he looks wasted…he is adorable!
Outside it’s sunny and very windy. Inside it’s quite and very homely, when I do make it outside everything feels brand new. The world has never been a better place. We are off on our first family walk in a few minutes, to the post office Darwin riding in style in his stealth black Britax stroller.
first time i have heard you say ‘daiper’! No more ‘nappy’ now. See you snuggle pies

Lovin all the Darwin photos, Pohaku, Kawika, and I are making plans for our next Maui trip! Can hardly wait.
And LOL, I was just looking at the pics and had to laugh at the one with you and a computer AND baby in your lap. I got real good at using the boppy pillow at the desk so Kawika could nurse and I could surf the internet, typing one handed no less! Ah it brings back memories.
