This weekend Gail and Mike flew into town for some family time. Friday night we had dinner with a twist at Josh and Amy’s. They have created a Korean BBQ style fire pit on their deck, meat fish and vegies were cut up, marinated and prepared on a plate for us to throw on the hot plate as we wished. It was a very interactive dinner and fun to be huddled around a fire all rugged up as the nights are still chilly.

Saturday morning Jason, Josh and I met with the realtor to try to come to an agreement price on the Kokomo Property we were very interested in. Unfortunately the seller wasn’t willing to come down to our price and we were not willing to jump up to his so that’s that and we are looking elsewhere.

Yesterday was a little overcast and really windy as it had been all weekend but the sun came out when we were up in Kula checking out the Botanical Gardens with Gail, Mike and Ryan. Jas and I went to the movies afterwards to see “Shooter” staring Mark Whalberg, it was sick!

Another dinner with the fam at Josh and Amy’s last night and back to work today, I love having the weekends off!

Horrible news this morning, 22 dead in an school shooting in Virginia. Not what I like to start my day hearing.

  1. hey ruthie, do you have to sleep on your back at night. I loved the shot of you resting your hands on your tum. Is that just where you put them now?
