The end of the year is coming to an end, so many memories! With only 10+ hours left to play all I can think of right now is sleep! Jason and I just got back from Brunch at The Grand Waliea Hotel!

We drove over early and swam in the crystal clear sea with a few other stoked tourists on their Christmas vacation. Jason could hear the whales singing under water, I had previously applied non water proof mascara (like a true yuppie!) so didn’t get to stick my head under to hear the sweet sounds. We joined about 35 others from Quatro (windsurfing company) whom Jason now works for on a more regular basis from his very own office at Pauwela Cannery in Haiku. We pretty much ate and ate and ate and ate some more, the buffet was AMAZING! Such lavish foods my favorite was the chocolate covered strawberries!

I’ve been home and sitting in the same spot on the couch now for about 3 hours, calling all the family. I miss those guys so much, Rog and Stacy just spent New Years in Byron Bay Mum was at home, I even spoke to Dad who chose to walk the beach to celebrate the New Year. Tom and Fern are just gearing up for their big night in Canada as are we here on Maui, well if you call “nothing” gearing up? Jason just got back from his worst windsurf session ever so he claims so doesn’t feel like doing much at all.

Now we’ve just been relaxing in bed chatting, snuggling and looking at real estate on line which is not putting us in the best mood for our new year celebration, houses are very pricey and crap.
It’s 5:55pm, 6 hours till countdown…where will we be? Most likely in bed but that sounds perfect!
