Tom and Fern arrived on Sunday, we headed over to the south side for a surf session pretty much straight away which was sick. When we got home we had a romantic BBQ dinner, just the four of us. Yesterday was our first full day together, Tom surfed Hookipa earily then we all had a delicious breakfast a the Cafe. Later on Tom, Fern and I ventured off into the forest on a hike for an hour or so before we hit the south side again. Jason came too so I was extra excited, he doesn’t really like it there but this day was an exception. Josh, Amy, Savanna, Harley, Julie, Ryan, Andrea, Scott, Cody and Levi all came over too it was a massive family affair. Josh paddeled out with Savanna wearing her floaties, Harley and Amy were out too. It was so nice to be on the water with everyone, as the sun set the sky was glorious! We came in just before dark, pounded a beer then headed to josh and Amy’s for a BBQ.

Many drinks later…oh my god, we left Josh’s at about 2am and continued back at our pad. I don’t know how we got so amped, by 4:45am I guess we decided to call it a night? Lots of funny pics, Tom got pretty creative with the Digerido…clasic!
Today was a perfect day for a hangover despite still having to go to work to unload the Costco order. It rained so we cruised inside watching the telly, We took a nice stroll about the Makawao shops this afternoon and had coffee at the nova to make ourselves feel normal.
I’m going to bed now, nighty night.
