IT’S “THAT” TIME!
My Favourite time! Other than my birthday! Christmas!!!
Last night Jason and I set out on mission, to find ourselves the bestest Xmas tree eva. Boy did we succeed! It is our first real Christmas tree together and also the first real tree I’ve ever bought and Jason too! We brought it home with intense excitement, ok “I” was very excited!, Jason seemed to be having a great time watching me.
We decorated the tree with amazing team work while listening to James Taylor and drinking white wine. Arie was going crazy which also added to the excitement. It stands very proud and bright in our house and is a delight to wake up to every morning and it smells soo good!
Santa is at the mall too, I’m planning on getting my 4th consecutive year Xmas photo with Santa this week… very exciting!
Ho Ho Ho!
I had to laugh ruthie - first tree you have bought!..remember all those years, climbing fences & going into the bush to find just the right shaped tree in the bush, and then once it was cut (hacked- it always was more difficult than it looked and had to be done quickly before anyone saw)down it never was the right shape after all with gaps here and there and wonky tops; then there was the branch we painted white in Armidale one year and the she-oak tree the next, another of my crazy ideas but there were always pressies underneath no matter what, good old santa! Now we have the loyal artificial one, and now we have had it so long, it really has grown with us. it will still be up when you and jason arrive so your birthday and christmas will come at once! love mum and merry christmas to all and to all a good night!
