After an exausting day yesterday and a late yummy dinner with Ponch and Ilani at Malagros in Paia, JC and I slept amazingly. I love Jason more and more each day, the passion just keeps intensifying. Love it, love him, love us.
This morning I lept out of bed just before 8am and met up with my work friends Mary and Lelani at the cafe where we loaded up my van with our surfboards. We trecked over to the other side, Lahina where “Breakwall” was our final destination. The surf there is medioka, small kine but super fun unless you hit the shallow reef, Mary and I managed to slice our feet up a tiny bit and my hip took a little beating. It was the girls first time surfing and they were killing it, I’m not an instructor by any means but it was fun hanging out. After a two hour sesion we made our way back to the North Shore where the wind at Kite Beach was looking good. I had a super fun like 20min sesion on my 8, killing it, not, it was really fun, felt like I had some nice grabs but might have looked different than it felt!? Now I’m in bed again and its 7pm, I feel pretty ill like a tummy ake. JC still has his sinus infection and can’t taste anything…that must really suck! So down the hatch with a few niquils and off to count the sheep.
