HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Man how stoked. New years was sick! And how’s my form..I’m back on the computer again in ‘full’ form doing just as I planed. Keeping in touch!
The last day of 2004 was spent enjoying a nice smoked salmon bagel breakfast with Gail and Mike (mullet man). JC and I later then took a swim down at Ho okipa, the water was beautiful. We then managed (but we don’t know how we did) to find a park at Costco (bulk shopping house/shed/thing) aka sick fun except at Xmas and New Years when everyone has taken their silly pills, yes including me! We bought the things we needed to make pu pu’s (Hawaiian term for entre’s to bring to a party) Yeah I thought it was poo poo’s too in the beginning, he he. We made Bruschetta, yum yum.
We put on our dancing shoes and cruised on down to Josh and Amy’s at about 5 o’ clock and popped a bottle of Dom Perignon ($100, ouch!)
It was really nice just hanging out with the family and some friends. Jason and I fixed ourselves a plate of ribs and salad and snuck into the T.V room. Unbeknown to us… what a bloody super surprise. The LAST yes last episode of Sex & the City, ahh could this night be going any perfecter?
Such a good episode, and the fact that Jas landed it on that channel purely by accident… what a man!
So after all this was done it was like 8.30 pm and it seemed a slim chance that we’d make it to midnight. We decided to bust open the poker set Josh got for Xmas. Josh, Amy, Me, Jas, Gail and Mike.
Anyhow, Poker kept us extremely entertained, yes I won quite a bit and NO it was not strip poker.
12 o’ clock.
JC defiantly had the sickest fire display, so high five worthy. We sat around and spoke of resolutions, managed to guzzle down the last bottle of champaign and the night slowly became what is now the dawning of the year 2005. Also known as “Two days until Ruthie’s Birthday!”
Perfect, except… JULES, we missed you again! But you were there with us, just as my family and all you friends too were with me in every happy thought I had. Cheese Ball signing out, thanks for reading. Laters.
Mmmmwah! Happy Days
Love,
RUTHIE XO
